What’s in my First Aid Kit?

What’s in my First Aid Kit?

This will probably shock you — i do not, and will not use medication.
As a kid, and a teen, I had always refused pharmaceutical input, even when I suffered for years with Endometriosis, I would be curled up on the toilet floor in complete and utter agony, and barely even take a Panadol or a Nurofen – something inside me just knew this wasn’t my journey.

BUT after i got married, I found essential oils and i learnt that I can replace absolutely everything in your typical first aid box, with oils.
That makes my heart so happy, and my gosh it’s so empowering as a mother to reach for oils in a crisis and know that they’re safe, and that they’re going to work!

Did you know that essential oils are part of the original medicine that was used in the days of the war, and in “the olden days” way before the pharmaceutical companies were even thought of.
However, essential oils have been put in the box of “alternative medicine” which makes people nervous about using them.
What we should be nervous about using, is modern medicine. Some have not even been properly tested on humans for efficacy and safety.

The Pharmaceutical companies provide medication which is a synthetic version of natural medicine; which means (look it up) to mimic a natural product.

Synthetic: adjective.
(of a substance) made by chemical synthesis, especially to imitate a natural product.

ANYWAY:

My First Aid Box.

These will replace all your medication and will be on par to support the same ailments, too.
It really is cost effective, and you have less to pack too.
Leaving more room for bandaids, bandages, cotton wool etc.

Packing essential oils just gives you comfort that you are going to have everything you need within your box for almost any situation that arises.

If you’re unsure what to use, you can download an oil app that will be a quick reference for you, or if you are camping and out of range, there are many essential oil reference books you can pack to keep near your box for quick and easy checking.

My favourite app is the Life Essentials.
I also have a pocket sized Reference book with the First Aid box too.

I love that these all stay together and can easily be popped into the camper, or into the car, sometimes I even take it in my handbag and off we go knowing that we have natural support at our fingertips. With a toddler, that makes me feel secure and empowered.

Thanks for reading!
Make sure you take some time to leave me some love.
I’d love to know what you take away with you, or what you have replaced in your first aid/medication box that i havent thought of yet!

If you are tempted about living an empowered and healthy life, but don’t have oils in your home, you can find how to purchase the oils here.
