Natural Support for dogs.

This post is a little different than my others.
Ive been using essential oils to support my family for years, and over time I have learnt what works, and what doesn’t, what feels good and what doesn’t, and I’ve seen their healing power right in front of my eyes.

There’s a lot of mixed information out there on the World Wide Web on how to use essential oils with pets and I have done my research and liased with a vet that specialises in using therapeutic essential oils with animals to where I feel comfortable using them.

We use them for little ailments like keeping ticks, fleas and mosquitos away, skin irritations, digestive upset and keeping their teeth clean and we use them for bigger issues, like my boy and his lump.

Essential Oils are concentrated plant compounds that are way more powerful than the plant or herb itself, making them really effective and this is why I choose them to support my dog.

So before we dive into it,
This is Snoop, my beautiful boy and best friend.
He was my fiancées dog (my husband now) and when we bought a house together, he was still working away up north, where he lived too.
Snoop got hit by a car and needed more care while he healed so he came to live with me. We were instantly best friends and he was the best company.

Snoop is now 11years old (god knows how old that is in dog years) and is starting to show signs of age.
He’s a little slower, and cracks a lot more when he stands up, and snores like a freaking old man! But the worst part of his age, is the lumps and bumps that are showing up.

This is why I’m writing this post, to show you a natural way that you can support your animals with these kind of things.

With the advice from a vet who knows and uses essential oils, I made the decision to start giving him essential oils in capsules. Getting them into his gut is a good way to support his body on a deeper level.

I give him one drop of Frankincense, 1 drop of Pink Pepper and 1 drop of Copaiba essential oil in an empty capsule.

Now, it’s important to note that I only recommend and only use a trusted brand which is DoTERRA.
Their purity is like no other.

I also put a drop of Lemon in his drinking water every day.
Lemon essential oil helps to alkaline the body in which stops the damaged and corrupted cells to grow in the body.

I also apply a drop of Frankincense to his lump every morning, and night to help to promote healthy cell growth.

Why did I choose these oils?

These oils help to promote Lymphatic Support, Candida Cleansing and Cancer Support.
They are powerful with promoting healthy cell renewal and boost the immune system which helps off any free radicals within the body.
They do a whole heap more, but this was enough to make me trust in them to help my boy.

God has provided plants to be our medicine from the start, and somewhere along the way it got lost and we as a society rely on synthetic medication to fix us – not our family. There are way too many side effects I have seen from family members and people around me who suffer more from the side effects than from the reason why they took the medication in the first place.
I trust what our creator provided for us and it has worked in so many ways for us as a family already.

Feeding Tips:
Dogs with Cancer usually have a calcium deficiency, we make sure to add bone to his diet or bone broth too. So we feed our boy raw meat and vegetables – lots of leafy green vegetables, raw meat, organic coconut oil, raw eggs and bone broth.

We buy from a local small business who provides the perfect ratios for a healthy dog – I’ll link his company at the bottom of this post for you.
But he does an amazing raw meat, vegetable, offal and bone dish that my dogs devour and we love it because it has no preservatives, chemicals or cr*p in it!

Thanks for reading and send Snoop lots of love and healing!

love Hayley xo
